RKW presents products for the construction industry

Frankenthal, 31 July 2009 - RKW and its North American Business Unit RKW US are the foremost manufacturers of high-quality plastic films and nonwovens and offer a wide range of products for the building and construction industry. From October 6-8 in Tampa, Florida the product program -especially for roofing applications- will be presented on the Booth No. 1902.

ROOFTOPGUARD II – Synthetic roof underlayments

The company is focusing here on multilayer roof underlayments with an anti-slip surface. The product, which is sold under the trade name Rooftopguard II, has been successfully used for many years on numerous construction projects in the USA. Thanks to the exclusive Fiber-Grip® surface, these roof underlayments can be processed roughly 30 per cent more quickly than similar products offered by the competition.

Rooftopguard II products, on which RKW grants a guarantee which is limited to 30 years, are completely waterproof, extremely weather-resistant and are even hurricane-proof. In addition, the material is resistant to insects, pests, rotting and mould. The underlayments, which are supplied in the form of a roll, are easy to handle thanks to their low weight and can be stored out in the open for up to six months.
