The site is situated very close to Atlanta, Georgia. The main focus of production at the business unit is on developing and producing microporous films, and this has been the case for 20 years. RKW US supplies the breathable film APTRA®, which is well known outside of Europe as well, to all the prestigious companies in the construction industry, for the production of roofing underlays, for example, and it also supplies manufacturers of protective clothing for industrial and medical applications.

Our many years of experience in the development and production of microporous films have made us an important partner to our customers because the properties of our films and nonwovens have a decisive impact on the quality of the end product.
